Nebraska football has notched some recent recruiting wins over Missouri, and there’s a chance the Huskers could be in line for another.

Three-star linebacker Caleb Green, who is currently committed to the Tigers, is visiting Nebraska football on an official visit this weekend. He’s from Lee Summit North, the same school that produced Isaiah Mozee, and where Jamar Mozee once coached.

There are strong ties between that program and Nebraska. Green is listed by 247 Sports as 6-foot-1, 215 pounds. He was also credited with 145 tackles last season, 14 tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. He’s ranked No. 749 overall via the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Outside if Missouri, the program Green committed to back in April, Michigan State just hosted Green for an official visit. The Spartans and Huskers each offered in the past month. Iowa State and Missouri were the top offers before that.

Green is a productive linebacker. He can run and cover. The Huskers have one linebacker committed in three-star Eli Harris (1,340 overall), so flipping Green would give Nebraska football another developmental option.

Bryan Munson of Husker Online has projected Green to flip to Nebraska football. He’s the only insider to take that leap. We’ll see how things go this weekend. Kyler Kuhn, a four-star IOL from Kansas City, Missouri, is also on campus, along with Barrett Kitrell and four-star cornerback Jailen Hill.

There’s a chance all four commit, along with three-star wideout Justyn Lindsay, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound receiver from Blue Springs, Missouri. He has been offered by Nebraska and Iowa recently, yet was projected to the Huskers by Munson.
