Nebraska football is set to have a lengthy visitor list at the end of March. More names keep being added for the weekend, and one of them is 2024 wide receiver Dae’Vonn Hall. This was confirmed via his On3 profile.
Hall is the 26th overall wide receiver in the 2024 class, and the top player in the 2024 class from the state of Nebraska per the 247Sports rankings. He has a numerical rating of 90.
Hall has been sought after by the Nebraska football program for quite a while. He was recruited by Mickey Joseph when the latter was still involved with the program. Now, it appears the new staff is working to seal the deal on Hall’s recruitment.
Nebraska has competition for the receiver, as Hall has 11 offers in total. Right now, he has a Crystal Ball for Nebraska, that was put in back in June 2022.
Hall can do a little bit of everything as a receiver. He is a deep-ball threat, and that would fit well as Nebraska wants to spread the field. In addition, he can also make things happen after the catch. The wide receiver has natural speed, and that allows him to take a pass and use his speed to gain extra yards.
The versatility Hall shows in terms of being able to go deep and run after the catch is certainly something Nebraska football needs offensively. Currently, the 2024 recruiting class has one commitment in Texas athlete Roger Gradney. Adding somebody like Hall would give the Huskers another speedster to the class.
It will be intriguing to see what Hall does during that visit weekend, as several stars are expected to be there. It seems like the program is pulling out all the stops for that weekend, and for good reason. Here’s to hoping program will be able to land commitments for some of them.
