NFL draft weekend wasn’t exactly a successful one for the Nebraska football program.

The Huskers only had one player selected in the 2026 NFL draft, which was running back Emmett Johnson, who was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round.

Johnson shouldn’t have had to wait as long as he did. However, Kansas City is a great place for him, and it wouldn’t be shocking if he eventually won the starting job there.

Some other Nebraska football players didn’t get drafted, but did get chances an undrafted free agents. Here’s our where every single Huskers alum has signed following the 2026 NFL draft.

Dane Key was one player who probably had a shot to get drafted, he ended up signing with the Denver Broncos after one season for the Huskers.

Another transfer, who played just one season for Nebraska football was Dasan McCullough. His versatility should help him in the NFL, but he didn’t develop into the pass rusher some expected this past season for the Big Red. He signed with the Broncos, too.

Ceyair Wright, who I expected to get drafted, signed on with the Bengals. I feel like he has the best chance of any of the undrafted free agents to make a 53-man roster. DeShon Singleton is another candidate to make the 53 out of training camp. He signed with the Chiefs, joining Emmett Johnson in Kansas City.

Henry Lutovsky signed with the Bucs, as did Javin Wright. Alex Bullock, a former Husker who transferred signed with Jacksonville. There hasn’t been any report of a deal for Heinrich Haarberg or Rocco Spindler yet. Stay tuned.
