Nebraska Football adds elite TE to March visitor list

Nebraska football will have another standout for Junior Day on March 24. 2024 four-star tight end Jaden Reddell will be on campus for the event, per his On3 profile.

Reddell is the 17^th overall tight end in the 2024 class, and the seventh overall player in his class from the state of Missouri per the 247Sports Rankings.

Reddell has zero crystal ball predictions at this time, but he does have an extensive offer sheet. He has 41 offers in total, including from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, and Texas. Most recently, he was offered by Texas on March 4.

Reddell played at Raymore-Peculiar High School in Missouri. That is the same high school that current Nebraska football player Jaidyn Doss went to. He tallied 49 catches for 1,002 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.

What could he bring to Nebraska football?

He would bring a variety of skills. He is a speedy tight end, which allows him to get separation quickly and make things happen after the catch. The tight end measures in at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds. This makes him a matchup nightmare. The tight end can get quickly out of his break, and accelerate as soon as he gets into the open field. He would bring another weapon to the Nebraska football tight end room and could be a potential Day 1 starter as well.

Currently, Nebraska football only has one commitment in the 2024 class in Texas athlete Roger Gradney However, we have seen several high-profile athletes coming to Lincoln in the final week of March.

This is certainly another one, as Nebraska football looks to build up the tight end room again. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to land Reddell. He could make an immediate impact at the position.
