Nebraska football has extended a bunch of new offers recently and Quinn Clark of Montana is one of my favorites.

Matt Rhule and the Nebraska football coaching staff have been grinding on the recruiting trail, and part of the work they’ve been doing is evaluating.

The Huskers have been busy adding to their board for the 2024 class in the month of June. They took a trip to a satellite camp in Texas and extended a few offers.

Nebraska football didn’t host any official visitors last weekend. But it did host a camp and Quinn Clark of Bozeman, Montana was one of the players that stood out.

Clark is 6-foot-6, 190 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in under 4.5 seconds (verified) and he was offered by the Huskers after his standout performance. Quinn’s dad is Ken Clark, so Nebraska football is in his blood, and here’s what he said about coach Rhule making the offer to 247 Sports:

“He offered me right there on the field,” said Clark. “I have a lot of family in Nebraska so that one is definitely special to me just because my dad played here. So I’ll always hold that one close to my heart. I think that’s going to be a gateway to other offers but at the same time that one – that’s really special.”

I have seen Clark in person numerous times in football, as well as track and field. He’s a legit athlete.

In a playoff game last fall, Clark caught eight passes for 204 yards and caught three touchdowns as he led Gallatin to the state semifinals for the first time ever in Montana. He also played defensive back and had an interception too in addition to catching the game-winning touchdown.

Could Quinn Clark wind up with Nebraska?

As far as his college future, Clark seems like a wide receiver. He could grow into a tight end or even an EDGE. He reminds me a little of Malachi Coleman. He’s got a similar athletic profile.

According to Bryan Munson of Husker Online, Clark is expected to take an official visit this month and I’m wondering if the Huskers are hoping to land another legacy commitment.

Clark isn’t the only new offer I’m excited about in the 2024 class. Jake Peters the interior offensive lineman has me interested. VanKeith Brown is also 6-foot-5, 190 pounds like Clark, and was offered last week by Nebraska during the Texas camp swing.

Michael Burt, the three-star tight end will be visiting this weekend. The more I watch his film, the more I want him to commit to the Huskers. Clark could be a real diamond in the rough though and I’ll be interested to see when he visits, as well as where he sits on the board.
