Former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord and former Ohio State wide receiver Julian Fleming are set to visit Nebraska football for this week. This was first reported by Zack Carpenter of Rivals.com.

Nebraska football has been connected with McCord and Fleming over the past couple weeks. They went to visit McCord last week.

Nebraska also been reportedly in a good spot for Fleming. It seems that the visit this week is a sign that things are trending in the right direction. One has to wonder if a visit next week could help seal the deal.

McCord threw for 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions last season. Fleming had 26 catches for 270 yards last year.

A visit next week by both players is certainly a good sign for Nebraska football. Nebraska football needs a playmaking quarterback. They also need someone with veteran and Big Ten experience. McCord brings that to the table.

They could also use veteran depth at the wide receiver position. Fleming in particular would be a nice boost to a wide receiver unit that has a ton of potential, but is still very raw.

Fleming is a productive receiver, who got overshadowed by Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. After all, he was the top player in the 2020 class, and the fourth overall player in the class itself. To say he is talented would be an understatement.

Both players would be game-changers for a program that needs impact players right away. Transfer portal quarterbacks and wide receivers are deciding their destination quickly. Nebraska football needs to be able to make a good impression next week. Both players have been key targets for the program as of late. Now, they need to be able to seal the deal.
