After expecting a flip from four-star wide receiver Isaiah Mozee for the past week or two, Nebraska football finally landed the commitment of the explosive wide receiver.
Nebraska beat out Oregon, one of the new Big Ten teams, and a recruiting power, to flip Mozee who is 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, and ranked No. 247 overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Mozee’s dad was recently hired by Nebraska football as an analyst. That probably helped but Isaiah is still a dynamic athlete and the sixth blue-chip commitment in the 2025 class.
The Huskers are also still in the mix for David Sanders, a five-star tackle, five-star receiver/athlete Michael Terry, and also four-star linebacker Christian Jones.
It’s not likely that Nebraska lands all thee. But if the Huskers miss on those recruits, they will likely expand the board or circle back to other targets.
Keep an eye on Cortez Mills
One previous target that the Huskers appear to be circling back to is four-star wideout Cortez Mills. The Homestead, Florida prospect committed to Oklahoma and he was always one of my favorite players in the 2025 class.
Mills is 6 feet, 165 pounds, and ranked 86th overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. Mills took a couple of visits to Nebraska during this cycle including an official visit during the spring game.
Yet, Oklahoma beat out the Huskers, Miami, Clemson, and others for his commitment. However, according to Bryan Munson of Husker Online, there is a “rumor” that Mills might visit this fall for the Colorado game.
If that happens, a flip could be a realistic possibility and if Terry winds up committing to Texas, Oregon, or Texas A&M instead of Nebraska, there’s a chance we could see Mills resurface.
So if you thought the Huskers were satisfied with their allotment of playmakers, they’re not.
