Nebraska football opens spring practice on Monday and in our latest podcast, we preview the Huskers’ offense.

It’s a great day, Nebraska football fans. The Huskers are taking the field for spring practice and it’s the first time under Matt Rhule that they are actually going to play some football.

The coaching staff is going to learn a lot about this Nebraska football roster in the next few weeks leading up to the spring game next month. I can’t wait to see that exhibition of football next month. It will be our first true glimpse of what Nebraska is going to look like under Matt Rhule.

There will be lots of fans in the stadium that day. However, spring practices are more important than the game. So what do we expect to see this spring from Nebraska football?

In our Monday episode of the Husker Big Red Podcast, we spent most of our time talking about the offense, taking a position-by-position preview. The quarterback position is going to be the most interesting. Can Jeff Sims make headway this spring? What about Casey Thompson? How much will we see last season’s starter if at all?

There are plenty of position battles to watch on the offensive side of the ball for Nebraska football. The offensive line is a key group that we are watching. I have my eyes on Turner Corcoran and Bryce Benhart. Where will they play this spring and how well?

We also touch on the running backs, wide receivers, tight end, and a little on recruiting. Here’s the podcast:
