Michael Terry is one of the top targets left on the board for Nebraska football in the 2025 recruiting class and the five-star athlete posted on X on Saturday that a decision is coming soon.

Terry, a 6-foot-3, 217-pound wide receiver/athlete out of San Antonio, Texas has Nebraska football in his final four along with Texas, Texas A&M, and Oregon.

Terry took an official visit to Lincoln for the Nebraska football spring game and he came away impressed. The Huskers had some real momentum, but that has faded after summer official visits to Oregon, A&M, and Texas.

Another visit is key for Nebraska football with Michael Terry

There is a late period in July that opens up for visits. Nebraska will surely try to get five-star offensive tackle David Sanders who is deciding in August, in for a visit. Getting Terry to visit would be ideal too, although it sounds like a commitment could be in the books by then.

You never know what “soon” means but Terry said in his post that “decision time is coming soon.” Texas is the leader according to the crystal ball. The Longhorns also have the best chance according to the On3 prediction machine.

My stance on Terry is similar to Sanders. One visit probably isn’t enough to get his commitment. Having Dylan Raiola, a former five-star quarterback in his own right, on the team and recruiting Terry certainly helps.

But it might not be enough to overcome Texas. The No. 26 overall prospect in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports rankings. The On3 prediction machine gives Texas a 92 percent chance, but you never know in recruiting and if Terry makes another stop in Lincoln, then Nebraska might have a shot.
