Keeping track of all the happenings for Nebraska football on Early National Signing Day.
It didn’t take long for Dylan Raiola to make it official with Nebraska football. At the earliest opportunity on Wednesday, the five-star quarterback turned in his national letter of intent, making it officially official.
Raiola will enroll early along with fellow quarterback Daniel Kaelin. The only unexpected news of Early National Signing Day so far for Nebraska football is the signing of transfer cornerback Blye Hill.
Hill played last season for FCS St. Francis but has been widely targeted in the transfer portal after a freshman season that saw him intercept two passes and break up six others. Hill is 6-foot-3 and should compete for playing time in the secondary right away next season, especially with Quinton Newsome leaving for the NFL draft.
UPDATE: Larry Tarver Jr., a three-star cornerback who was committed to Maryland, has signed with Nebraska football. Tarver is the 27th commitment in the 2024 class but he’s a signee now after putting pen to paper.
The Huskers have also landed three-star linebacker Vincent Shavers. He visited Nebraska last weekend with Dylan Raiola and is ranked 550 overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Signing Day Decisions
Some names to watch for Nebraska football fans on Wednesday include Vincent Shavers, a Miami, Florida prospect who recently decommitted from the Hurricanes and visited Nebraska.
Two others from the South Florida area could also wind up as Cornhuskers on Early National Signing Day. The Huskers have been trending to flip three-star cornerback Larry Tarver Jr. from Maryland. Plus, Amare Sanders is still considering Nebraska football.
All three will make their announcements today, so stay tuned. There are also rumors of Dylan Raiola and Nebraska pushing for five-star wideout Ryan Wingo, who has been on campus with Dylan.
