Nebraska football hosted 2024 five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola on a visit Saturday afternoon. However, that was just the beginning of what was a busy day for the quarterback in many respects. The signal-caller got a Crystal Ball in his favor from 247Sports.

Ryland Spencer from CascadiaPreps.com put in a high confidence Crystal Ball on Saturday afternoon. He put in the Crystal Ball with a confidence score of eight. This is the first Crystal Ball for Raiola since February 13, when Mike Schaefer of Huskers247 put in one as well. It is worth noting that his last two Crystal Balls have both been trending for Nebraska.

This is certainly notable, given the high confidence score, and the fact that it came as Raiola was making his Nebraska visit.

On top of this, the quarterback was able to get a warm reception at Saturday afternoon’s Nebraska basketball game. Fans chanted his name during the game, and he responded by throwing Nebraska’s signature “bones” celebration. This weekend’s visit has certainly made the quarterback feel important at Nebraska. He said as much to 247Sports’Steve Wilfong following the basketball game.

“I’ve never experienced anything close to that!” Raiola told 247Sports. “Those fans are the best and they have always showed my family love! It means a lot. It’s a blessing to be able to experience these fans at these games! They always show out for their Husker sports! It’s a great site to see!”

All in all, this is certainly important in terms of Raiola’s standing with Nebraska. Although nothing is official yet, the Crystal Ball certainly has things trending in the right direction. He is still scheduled to take a visit to Nebraska in March, and that will be a big visit weekend for the program. Several important prospects will be on campus and one could argue that Saturday’s visit was important as well.

For now, Raiola is feeling the love from both friends and experts alike. It will be intriguing to see if that Crystal Ball actually goes in favor of Nebraska Football.
