Nebraska football continues to stay hot on the recruiting trail. They got a prediction for 2025 offensive lineman Houston Kaahaaina-Torres on Saturday afternoon. The prediction was put in by On3’s Bryan Munson and Sean Callahan. The prediction itself had a confidence score of 60. Kaahaaina-Torres is set to make his decision on Sunday.

Kaahaaina-Torres is the 23rd overall offensive lineman in the 2025 class, and the second player overall in the class from the state of Hawaii   per the 247Sports composite rankings.

What can he bring to Nebraska football?

Kaahaaina-Torres measures in at six-foot-two, 265 pounds. His size may be a bit smaller for a lineman, but it also lends him to be effective in multiple ways. For starters, he is extremely athletic. As soon as the ball is snapped, he is able to stay with his man and move quickly to stop any potential pass-rushing moves.

The lineman is also very agile, and is not afraid to go into the second level in order to finish blocks. One thing that really stands out to me in particular is how quickly he is able to move. This goes for everything from his feet, to his initial block. Overall, finishing a play is a strong point of his and is something that should make Nebraska football fans happy.

This would be a big get for a program that has begun to see some momentum recently. Up until these past couple of days, it had been a rough week on the recruiting trail. Now, Nebraska football looks to be in good position as we head into July. After landing Brian Tapu, this would be another nice pickup for an offensive line that is already in good shape.

It’s hard to call anything a lock in terms of recruiting. However, it is reasonable to feel good about Nebraska football’s chances of landing him. This would just continue to add more depth to the offensive line, in what is an already strong group.
