Nebraska football made some headway on the final weekend of official visits, but the question is, how much?

There are two scheduled commitment announcements on Monday that Nebraska football fans should be following. One of the players was just on campus this past weekend — Danny Odem.

Out of Orlando, Florida, the 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback is ranked No. 198 overall in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry rankings.

Following his official visit, in which he took pictures on a tractor, Odem has been projected to land with the Huskers by Bryan Munson and Sean Callahan of Husker Online. Odem also announced a commitment date of Monday (June 23rd) to decide between Nebraska, Penn State, Ohio State, Clemson, and Oklahoma.

With the loss of CJ Bronaugh from the 2026 class last week, adding Odem would be massive. However, that’s not the only potential commitment for Nebraska football on Monday.

Running back target set to decide

Jamal Rule, a 6-foot, 205-pound running back out of Charlotte, North Carolina, will announce his commitment on Monday, too, among a final group of Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and Michigan State.

Rule visited Nebraska on the weekend of June 13th. It felt like the Huskers grabbed the lead that weekend and haven’t relinquished it.

Rule is ranked No. 779 overall in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry rankings. He’s one of just two running backs with scholarship offers left on the board. Brian Bonner, a four-star running back from California, is the other.

So, Nebraska needs this win, and the experts (crystal balls and RPM projections) have him choosing Nebraska.
