Nebraska football continues to stay red-hot on the recruiting trail, and they landed another expert prediction for running back Kewan Lacy. On3’s Sean Callahan put in his prediction on Sunday afternoon.
Lacy would be a strong addition to the running back room. He is a three-star running back. He is the 59th overall running back in the 2024 class, and the 129th fire overall for the 247 sports composite rankings. He has offers from Ole Miss, Baylor, and Arizona State in addition to Nebraska.
Lacy is a physical running back in every sense of the word. He is hard to bring down and has good vision when he carries the football. The Texas native is more of a north-south runner, and can also use his speed in the catching department. Lacy has the ability to make plays happen after the catch. Bottom line, he looks like a big time running back, and would be a strong get for the running back room.
Nebraska Football trending for Campbell
Nebraska football also got predictions from On3’s Bryan Munson. He put in a prediction for 2024 four-star Texas wide receiver Ernest Campbell.
Campbell is the 72nd overall wide receiver in the 2024 class, and the 70th overall player in this class from state of Texas per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Campbell would be a great addition for Nebraska football due to his speed. This coaching staff has looked for speed with several of its wide receivers. Now, it appears that they are finding a formula that’s working. He runs a 21.71 200-meter sprint and a 10.25 100-meter sprint.
Campbell can make things happen after the catch. He is very effective in the slot, and can also do a little bit of running out of the backfield. In any case, his speed will help him at multiple positions on offense. He is exactly the type of player that Nebraska football has been looking for in terms of recruiting.
The 2024 Nebraska football recruiting class ranks 24th in the country per the On3 recruiting rankings.
These two predictions would be big gets for Nebraska, as they look to continue a busy weekend. Lacy in particular would also fill Nebraska football’s need for a running back. Time will tell when they will commit, but it looks like Nebraska is in good shape.
