Earlier this week, Nebraska football commitment Jeremiah Jones was projected to flip from the Huskers to Missouri by a Tigers insider for 247 Sports.

The insider, Sean Brock, was so confident that when he logged a crystal ball prediction for Missouri to flip to the Tigers earlier this week, he used 10/10 confidence which means a lock.

However, it wasn’t a lock after all. Jones did visit Missouri recently but it was reported that he was going to visit Nebraska football on Saturday for the Wisconsin game. Jones then took to X and posted “No I ain’t flipping” along with some corn emojis.

All the reporting in the world can’t dispute that. You can never say never of course. But with signing day less than two weeks away, Nebraska football fans should feel good about Jones reaffirming his commitment.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound defensive back is a freakish athlete and there’s even a chance he could play some on offense too. He’s ranked 410th overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Nebraska Cornhuskers split with Creighton

The men’s basketball team notched a massive road win over the Bluejays. Juwan Gary and Brice Williams each had 16 points in the win. Nebraska basketball never trailed and the game felt eerily similar to the win two years ago for the Huskers in Omaha.

Unfortunately, the women’s team was upset by unranked Creighton. The Bluejays outscored the Huskers 28-19 in the fourth quarter to win 80-74. Lauren Jensen was incredible for the Bluejays with 31 points in 40 minutes. She was 10-of-19 from the field and 4-of-9 from 3-point range. Alexis Markowsi led Nebraska with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Britt Prince added 20 points, six boards, and two assists.

A huge volleyball match for the Nebraska Cornhuskers

Last but not least, Nebraska volleyball will take on Wisconsin tonight after the Nebraska football game against the Badgers. The same thing happened two years ago.

Nebraska football lost. The Huskers beat Wisconsin in five sets. No. 2 Nebraska volleyball is 17-0 in the Big Ten. Penn State is 16-1, while Wisconsin is 15-2. Nebraska is unbeaten against ranked teams this season and the seventh-ranked Badgers will square off against Nebraska at 7 PM CST on Big Ten Network.
