Nebraska football plays Indiana on Saturday in the biggest game Lincoln Memorial Stadium has hosted in two decades.
There were two players to watch as far as the injury report was concerned. One of them was running back Jamal Rule. He missed the Maryland game; however, Dana Holgorsen said on Tuesday that he could have played in the game.
So Rule is good to go. So is cornerback Andrew Marshall. He didn’t appear on the injury report at all on Wednesday. The other player of any consequence for Nebraska football on there is Carter Nelson, who is listed as doubtful.
Nobody else on the two-deep is on the injury report. Indiana’s injury report is clean, too, for the most part, so we will have two mostly healthy teams going at it on Saturday.
Former Nebraska football player Cam Jurgens is traded
The Eagles traded away Cam Jurgens, who in 2025 signed a four-year, $68 million deal. Jurgens earned Pro Bowl honors in 2024 and 2025. The Ravens traded a second-round and a fifth-round pick to the Eagles to land the former Nebraska center. This makes sense for the Ravens.
Two ranked opponents await Nebraska volleyball
The Nebraska volleyball team heads to Bloomington, Indiana, for the Hoosiers’ first-ever top-15 matchup in volleyball.
Indiana is a program on the rise. The Hoosiers have won 19 of their last 26 Big Ten matches. This would be their first-ever win over a No. 1 team. Jaidyn Jager is a name to know. The Indiana outside hitter has at least 10 kills in 17 of her last 24 Big Ten matches. The Indiana block has been productive, too. The Hoosiers are 6-0 when they record at least nine blocks.
That won’t be easy to do against an elite hitting team like Nebraska. The Huskers hit .323, which is No. 2 nationally behind Pitt. The Huskers have allowed an opposing clip of .090. That gives Nebraska a hitting margin of +.233. That also leads college volleyball.
After taking on 15th-ranked Indiana on Thursday, 7th-ranked Wisconsin will come to Lincoln on Saturday at 6 p.m. The Indiana match is slated for 5:30.
Nebraska and Wisconsin have waged some epic battles on the volleyball court. The Huskers have owned the series in recent years, but this should be another exhilarating match. Â Audrey Flanagan is becoming a star for the Badgers. She was the Big Ten Freshman of the Week last week thanks to 31 kills over two matches.
These are two of the most talented teams in the Big Ten. It will also be the first top-10 matchup for the Huskers since the first weekend of the season against Texas.
The Indiana match will be on the Big Ten Network. Nebraska-Wisconsin will be on Fox.
