It’s looking more and more likely that five-star QB Dylan Raiola will flip his commitment to Nebraska football.

Landing the commitment of Dylan Raiola would be a dream come true for Nebraska football and on that front, it’s clear that the confidence is rising in the Huskers’ ability to pull it off.

The rumblings started on Monday when Steve Wiltfong on 247 Sports flipped his crystal ball prediction from Georgia to Nebraska football.

Since then, Chad Simmons, the lead expert for On3.com, also projected the Huskers to flip Raiola. Plus, Sean Callahan and Bryan Munson of Husker Online followed suit with flip predictions for the five-star quarterback to flip to the Big Red.

It was then confirmed that Dylan Raiola would take an official visit this weekend, which makes the whole thing feel inevitable. The dude was supposed to start practicing with Georgia on Monday. Instead, he’s on a plane to Nebraska this weekend.

And as long as he makes that trip, I fully expect Raiola to flip his commitment to Nebraska. Callahan originally put his prediction with 60 percent confidence out of 100. He has now upped that confidence to 80/100.

In another good sign for the Huskers, Kipp Adams, the Georgia insider for 247 Sports, has also projected Nebraska to flip Raiola. When the team expert follows through with a prediction, it’s usually a good sign.

So everything is trending in the right direction for Nebraska. The Huskers have also been trending with projections for Kyle McCord, both from On3.com and 247 Sports.

Could the Huskers have both quarterbacks committed by the end of the week? That’s the dream scenario but it certainly seems possible and what a quarterback overhaul that would be.
