5-star Michael Terry is planning to visit Nebraska football again this fall

Nebraska football is still a contender for 5-star Michael Terry who is talking about visiting once again during the fall.

Nebraska football is heavily involved with a pair of five-star recruits in the 2025 class — David Sanders and Michael Terry.

Both prospects visited right before the end of the dead period and while Sanders’ trip to Lincoln caused more buzz — Nebraska football fans even greeted him in Lincoln with Dylan Raiola — I’ve been saying the Huskers have a better chance of landing Michael Terry, the wideout/athlete from Texas.

Terry is 6-foot-3, 217 pounds, and can play multiple positions. The Huskers reportedly view him as a Deebo Samuel type of player and it’s easy to see why. As a sophomore in high school, Terry ran the 100-meter dash in 10.83 seconds.

In 2023, the San Antonio, Texas product rushed for 995 yards. He also had 564 receiving and scored 10 offensive touchdowns, as well as scoring on defense with a pick-six.

The latest on 5-star Michael Terry and Nebraska football

Texas has been the main contender for Terry along with Oregon and Texas A&M. The Longhorns have the lone crystal ball prediction for Terry but this has been a tough recruitment to read, much tougher than Sanders.

Terry visited during the Nebraska football spring game and Bryan Munson of Husker Online reports that Terry has been talking to the Nebraska staff about visiting for the game this fall.

That would be a huge development for the Huskers. There are some key recruits already visiting for the Colorado game and it would be perfect sense to get Terry back to Lincoln for that. The gameday atmosphere will be off the charts.

I’m not going to say another visit means that Nebraska will land Terry. But, it feels like the Huskers have been trending up since Terry’s last visit, and if he comes for a game, you’d have to give Nebraska at least a 50/50 shot of landing the elite athlete from the Lone Star State.
