Another day, another prediction in favor of Nebraska Football. Thursday, a prediction was put in for the Huskers to land 2024 four-star offensive lineman Grant Brix.
On3’s Bryan Munson put in a new prediction for Brix at around 1:00 PM ET. He is rated as a four-star interior offensive lineman. He has an extensive offer sheet that includes the likes of Kansas State, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Alabama, Miami, Minnesota, Notre Dame, and Penn State among others.
Brix is an imposing figure at six-foot-six, 290 pounds He has the ability to get leverage on his man almost immediately, and has quick hands. He doesn’t stand still when blocking, and uses his strength to drive his man backward. His physical dominance is evident and that strength allows him to make holes for a running back quickly.
He would fit very well with the physical running style that Nebraska football is looking to employ. That type of and physicality would work extremely well in the trenches. These are the type of lineman you need for Big Ten play.
For what it’s worth, he would also become Nebraska’s highest-rated offensive line commitment since Turner Corcoran in 2020.
A good trend for Nebraska Football
This is certainly a good sign for Nebraska football. Munson has been mostly accurate on his predictions as of late. has an 83% prediction rate, which is fairly good when trying to predict where kids are going to go. He currently has Brix going to Nebraska at 55%. Although it’s not an overwhelming number, it does tip the scales.
Currently, the 2024 Nebraska football recruiting class ranks 18th overall nationally, according to On3 rankings. This is a very solid class filled with balance. The addition of Brix would certainly add to that, and give an offensive line-centric coaching staff a valuable player to work with.
Time will tell if Brix is going to come to Nebraska. However, these predictions certainly are trending in the right direction.
