Nebraska Football gets prediction for 2024 Florida CB

Nebraska football received a prediction for 2024 three-star corner Amare Sanders on Wednesday. This prediction was put in by Chad Simmons, On3’s Director of Recruiting. Simmons put in a confidence score of 60.

Sanders’ recruitment started to gain traction over the summer. He was projected to go to Nebraska by several writers, including Sean Callahan. Callahan’s prediction was the last one put in for Sanders. He put one in on July 11th, also with a confidence score of 60.

What could Sanders bring to Nebraska Football?

Sanders measures in at six-foot-two, 167 pounds. He would be able to help Nebraska as an outside corner. His skill set is not limited to that however. He is very instinctual, and can go over and make a play on the football towards the middle of the field. His quick reaction time, as well as his ability to cover outside receivers would make him a fit for conference play.

In addition, Sanders would give Nebraska football additional athleticism at the corner position. The 2024 class is already headlined at the corner position by Mario Buford . Sanders would be yet another impactful athlete at the position, and a conference that is going to feature pass-happy teams like USC in short order.

Currently, the 2024 Nebraska football recruiting class ranks 25th overall per the On3 recruiting rankings.  Nebraska has added to the class this week, with the addition of Grant Brix. Now, it appears that they are trying to fill out the rest of the class. Sanders would make sense given that Nebraska has been in contact with him before.

It will be interesting to see how Nebraska football elects to fill out the rest of the class. They currently have 26 commitments in total, and it does not appear that there will be room for many more, besides transfer portal additions. Sanders would add to a well-rounded class.
