Nebraska football has received yet another prediction in their favor.  The program had a busy weekend, with the commitment of Malcolm Simpson being the icing on the cake. Now, they are favorite to land another Ohio recruit. On3’s Bryan Munson put in a prediction for 2025 three-star athlete Noah King.

King is the 102nd overall athlete in the 2025 class, and the 56th overall athlete in the state of Ohio, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Right now, it’s looking like a Nebraska football and Kentucky battle. So far, Nebraska is very much in the lead, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

King’s recruitment has been a busy one over the last couple of weeks. He was officially offered by Nebraska on June 5. King is also set to visit Lincoln on June 21. This could be worth monitoring, especially with the predictions coming in. The Huskers could be in line for a big month, and King would certainly add to it.

King played both sides of the football in high school, and he played them well. Offensively, he was a solid receiver. King was able to make contested catches with ease. In addition to making the contested catches, he was also able to get out of his break very quickly. This allowed him to sneak by defenders, and use his speed to make things happen after the catch.

Defensively, he showed that same level of instinct. He was able to close on his target quickly, and wrap up and make a tackle. Play recognition was also a strong suit of his. He was able to identify where the play was going, and wrap up and make a solid tackle. That, combined with his closing speed, make him a very solid defender.

Currently, the Nebraska football 2025 recruiting class is getting stronger by the day. The class itself currently has 11 commitments. They ranked 31st overall in the country per the 247Sports Team Rankings. Adding King would certainly not be the biggest signing of the class, but he does give the program flexibility, and athleticism.

Personally, I see him more as a player on the defensive side of football. The wide receiver room is getting fuller by the day for Nebraska, while the secondary is an area in which they need to improve rapidly. Depth is an issue there. King can certainly help fill that void for the coming years.

This prediction is certainly a good sign for Nebraska football. Munson has been on a roll with his predictions lately, and I can certainly see him being right about this one.
