Spring ball is in full swing for Nebraska football. The Huskers opened spring practices earlier than any other Power-4 program, and now they are putting that to their advantage on the recruiting trail.

Of course, the Huskers aren’t on the road this week. The next few weeks will be about bringing recruits to visit Lincoln, starting with four visitors on Thursday, and a total of 12 through the weekend.

Breaking down a loaded weekend of recruiting visitors for Nebraska football

That visit list includes a five-star interior offensive lineman, Albert Simien, a 6-foot-3, 275-pounder out of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who is ranked 14th overall. This will be his second visit to Nebraska. It seems like there’s a good chance he takes an official visit this summer, as long this visit, set for Friday, goes well.

O-line coach Geep Wade has been doing an incredible job on the recruiting trail. We’ll see if that continues with Simien. It will be a tough pull to get him out of Louisiana, but Wade has Nebraska in the mix.

David Folorunsho is expected on campus Thursday. He’s one of the hottest D-line prospects in the Midwest. He’s 6-foot-4, 280 pounds out of Chicago. Maybe Trae Taylor can give an assist here, but this is a great opportunity for Corey Brown to make a solid impression.

4-star EDGE Prince Goldbsy (No 290 overall) out of Kansas City will also visit Thursday, along with Kobe Rhymes, a three-star LB out of Kansas City (No. 438), and EDGE Marquis Evans, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound EDGE (No. 442) out of Birmingham, Alabama.

Brandon Lockley is a highly-targeted linebacker from the Midwest. He’s from Philly and is ranked No. 324, and will visit on Friday. 6-foot-1, 315-pound Waylon Wooten from Loganville, Georgia, will also visit.

Elite wideouts will visit, too

On Saturday, two highly-touted wideouts will be in Lincoln. Nebraska football will host Quentin Burrell, another Chicago-area player. He’s ranked 65th overall. Nebraska is one of 10 schools on his final list. Official visits will be determined after the spring, so this is a big visit for the Huskers.

Four-star (WR) Khalil Taylor, out of Pittsburgh, ranked 73rd in the 2027 class, will also be on campus, along with Tavares Harrington. The four-star safety, ranked 100th overall, is also out of Chicago.

Kei’Shjuan Telfair will visit, too. He’s ranked 139th overall out of Ohio. Last but not least, three-star Kaden Howard will visit. The Homestead, Florida prospect has trending with projections to Nebraska, and if there is anyone who could commit this weekend, it’s him.Ā

Howard is ranked No. 785. He’s 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, and runs the 100-meter dash in 10.78 seconds. He also averaged over 20 yards per reception last season.

(Visits and rankings are according to Rivals).
