One of the biggest games of Matt Rhule’s tenure as Nebraska football head coach will take place on Saturday at Lincoln Memorial Stadium.

It’s Senior Day and the Huskers will be playing for a bowl game once again. They fell short in the same situation last season and for many, it feels like if a sixth win doesn’t happen this weekend, it won’t happen against Iowa.

Rhule can’t afford another winless November. He can’t go 0-10 in his first two seasons in games that would allow Nebraska football to clinch a bowl berth, but right now, he’s 0-8. Seven of them were by one score.

Four of the five losses this season have come by one possession. 10 of Rhule’s 12 losses have been one-possession games, but it’s time to start winning some. Nebraska football has lost 10 straight games to Wisconsin which is mind-boggling.

To end the bowless streak, the Huskers need to end that streak, and here’s a look at the odds, a prediction, and how to watch.

Nebraska football vs. Wisconsin odds

According to DraftKings, the Huskers are a 2.5-point favorite. The over/under is 42.5 points and the moneyline is -130 for Nebraska football and +110 for Wisconsin.

Nebraska football vs. Wisconsin Prediction

Frankly, I’m sick of the Rhule aid. It’s gotten bitter. But I still believe in this team (for some reason). The addition of Dana Holgorsen didn’t make a huge impact last week but it was the first game.

You could tell from his press conference on Monday, where he detailed getting on the wide receivers about their poor blocking — something that’s been an issue all season — and the guys responded, as he said, which they did as their blocking lead to an Emmett Johnson touchdown.

Holgorsen is just a good football coach. He understands what the offense needs to do to win. Wisconsin is down to its backup quarterback and just fired its own offensive coordinator, which tells me they will go back to more of the ground and pound.

Nebraska has struggled to stop the run and that will be the deciding factor in this game. If Wisconsin runs it well — at least better than Nebraska — the Badgers will find a way to win.

Prediction: Wisconsin 20, Nebraska 17
