5-star Jordan Seaton hasn’t signed yet in the 2024 class and Dylan Raiola is trying to recruit him to Nebraska football.
You can never say never in recruiting and since five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton, a Colorado commitment, hasn’t signed with the Buffaloes yet on Early National Signing Day, it sounds like Nebraska football is trying to work its way into the mix.
At the very least, five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola is trying to recruit another elite talent to join him in Lincoln. The new Nebraska football signee was trying to get fellow five-star Ryan Wingo, a wide receiver, to come to Nebraska, but Wingo ultimately signed with Texas.
However, Seaton, who committed to Colorado recently, has been talking with Tennessee and Maryland. The Terps have gained a ton of momentum and it seemed like a flip might be imminent.
It hasn’t happened though. Seaton hasn’t signed with anyone yet and he told Hayes Fawcett of On3.com that “Dylan Raiola and Nebraska has been my most recent DM.”
Seaton is reportedly “taking his time” via 247 Sports when announcing between Maryland and Colorado. It seems like that has opened the door for others. Maybe Seaton will decide to push his decision past the early signing period which goes until Friday.
If Seaton doesn’t announce by then, he will need to wait until the traditional signing day in February. Since Nebraska football hasn’t been involved here (no offer), a delay until February could be the best-case scenario.
It does seem like a long shot. But 10 days ago, landing Dylan Raiola seemed like a long shot too.
