Nebraska football had a major day on Friday afternoon landing two big commitments for the wide receiver room. Nebraska landed wide receivers Dae’vonn  Hall and Isaiah McMorris

Hall is a four-star wide receiver. He is the second overall player in the state of Nebraska per the 247Sports composite rankings. He has a numerical rating of 89. Hall was recruited to Nebraska by Garrett McGuire, and is visiting Nebraska this weekend. He is the third four-star commitment for the 2024 class.

Nebraska football is getting a player that is dangerous on multiple levels. He has the ability to be a deep threat for the program, as well as make things happen after the catch. Hall is a speed player in every sense of the word, and immediately explodes off the line as soon as the football is snapped. He gets open with ease, and is a difficult guard for any defender.

McMorris brings jolt to Nebraska Football

Isaiah McMorris is the third overall player in his class from the state of Nebraska per the 247 sports Composite Rankings. He is a three-star recruit, and has a numerical value of 88.

McMorris game is a bit similar to Hall in that he is a deep threat as well. He does  a good job of getting open, and uses that speed to get to the end zone. McMorris is a good outside threat, and that allows him to be a quarterback’s best friend, particularly on 50\50 balls. His vertical ability is noticeable on high catches, and his route-running is crisp.

McMorris measures and at 6 feet, 168 pounds. Hall measures in at six-foot-one, 180 pounds. They both share the same play style of being weapons who can make an offense instantly explosive. On top of this, they have reunited with their high school quarterback at Bellevue West in Daniel Kaelin.

Currently, the 2024 Nebraska football recruiting class ranks 17th in the country. On top of this, they have five commitments from the state of Nebraska. This coaching staff did a good job of prioritizing the 2024 in-stay class, and now we are seeing the benefits from it.

These two commitments have the opportunity to help the trajectory of the program rise even faster. On top of this, these are two solid recruits landed by McGuire. These are certainly notches in his belt in what has been a solid month for the program overall.
